10a – Nature Storytime – Dover Public Library – Miss Claire will read some nature-themed stories, and you will make your own pair of binoculars to take with you on the Nature Hike.
2p – Animal Signs Hike – Camp Buckeye Retreat Center – Hosted by Dover Public Library, this fun and informative hike will take place on Camp Buckeye trails, led by Camp Buckeye staff.

Thursday, June 21
2p – Swim Break Storytime – Dover City Pool – Find Miss Claire from Dover Public Library at Dover Pool during the 2:00 swim break to enjoy a story while you wait to get back in the pool.

Friday, June 22
6p – Vinyasa in the Vineyard – Breitenbach Wine Cellars – An all-levels yoga class outside at the Tool Shed’s covered patio. Sangria and Park Street Pizza included in the price of $25.

Saturday, June 23
9a – Family Fishing Day – Norma Johnson Center, Pond at Yellow Pool Barn – Free – Bring the family and go fishing at the Norma Johnson Center. Registration will be at 8:30 and a friendly fishing adventure will go from 9a-11:30a. Sponsored by The Kimble Company and the ODNR Step Outside grant. Participants will receive free fishing gear while supplies last.
6p – Picnic by the Pond and Scavenger Hunt – Norma Johnson Center, Picnic Shelter – Free

Saturday, July 7
 6p – Rhubarb Release Party – Breitenbach Wine Cellar – Come out and celebrate the release of Rhubarb! There will be rhubarb pastries, homemade ice cream, food and Rhubarb wine! Our friends “One-A Celebration of U2” will be performing from 6pm-9pm with the hits of U2.

Thursday, July 12
Butterfly Exhibit Opens – Norma Johnson Center – Donations Appreciated – Enjoy Native Ohio Butterflies up close and personal in “All A Flutter” butterfly enclosure. On display but not limited to will be the Monarch, Question Mark and Morning Cloak butterflies. Open Monday-Saturday 10a-4p and Sunday 12p-4p.

Saturday, July 14
2p – Story and Sing-a-long – Softie’s – Listen to stories and sing songs with Miss Claire from Dover Public Library while enjoying Softie’s ice cream! Program will take place on their patio, and the first 20 kids to register get a free small cone!

Friday, July 20

7p – New Wave Nation Under the Stars – Breitenbach Wine Cellars – Utilizing modern day video technology, the New Wave Nation visually transports the audience through time and back, while performing the songs live, with a current feel, using their own arrangements, and tailoring a show around audience interaction and participation. Food and beverages will be available. $5 cover.

5p – First Crush Five Mile Run – Breitenbach Wine Cellar – A unique 5 mile run/walk, starting and finishing at the Winery.  We will be celebrating the “First Crush” of the fall grape harvest before and after with music, tastings, and camaraderie. Every race registration comes with a commemorative wine glass, and four wine tastings (for those of age), as well as a Subway Sub, refreshments, and snacks. Each finisher receives a commemorative Stainless Steel Wine Stopper.
