A word from Dover Township Trustee John Miceli

Head shot Miceli-11A FOR RELEASEIt’s been a relatively quiet year for us at Dover Township. We have “settled in” to our new headquarters on Red Hill; and, as you will see in this newsletter, we are announcing an open house to show the Townships’ residents what the trustees have done to ensure our service remains top-notch.

Those who attend our open-house will receive an overview of the extensive rehab that has been done to this once blighted property. We have made every effort to make the Township headquarters not only visually pleasing but also functional for this and future generations.

Also in this issue, we take a look at the projects completed by our road crew this summer and those approaching this winter. To often we forget the challenge our superb road crew faces on a daily basis to maintain our roads not only for residents but also for the many tourists, school buses and general traffic that use our roads on a daily basis.

Please remember that our doors are always open and we welcome any and all residents’ input. Involved residents only help to make Dover Township an even better place to live and raise a family.

I would also like to remind all eligible voting residents to exercise your right to vote this election day. Please read the article about important reminders for voters.
